Thirty years have gone by since opening his first shop, at Shopping da Gávea, Rio de Janeiro. This holiday season, Antonio Bernardo celebrates the occasion by presenting 18 new designs and 30 emblematic jewels from throughout his career. Some of them are being relaunched exactly as they were originally conceived; others are re-edited in designs which highlight certain essential aspects, such as a shape, a symbol, a fitting mechanism or the setting of a stone. Constructive minimalism and organic syntax are this collection’s strong points, crowned by a profusion of diamonds and gems.

Among the new pieces, we see from the gradual transitions of gems - in color and dimensions in Ray earring and in hues in Éden (Eden) earring - to the opulence of diamonds in Glitter hoop earring, as well as technical expertise in the exposed setting of Opening ring and earrings. On the other hand, the organic shape of Hydra ring and the figurative one of Sementes (Seeds) earring, verse on links and ramifications vital to the botanic universe.

The evolution of the Prisma line brings us an exuberant pendant which counter balances mass and transparency in two necklace designs: with pendant prisms or prisms in decreasing dimensions.

Therefore, different eras are condensed in these simultaneous collections, which flirt with humor, technique, inventiveness, tradition and boldness - all of them essential - and which have surprised us throughout Antonio Bernardo’s 30 years of work.
