Jewelers Mutual sponsored Cartier exhibition

January 2015

Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company showed its support for the arts and appreciation for exquisite design in sponsoring the Art of Brilliance event at the Denver Art Museum (DAM). The event was hosted by DAM’s young philanthropist group, CultureHaus, and featured an exclusive showing of the museum’s Brilliant: Cartier in the 20th Century exhibition.

At Art of Brilliance, 400 attendees viewed striking Cartier jewelry, timepieces, and other precious items created between 1900 and 1975 and worn by such famous clients as Dame Elizabeth Taylor and Princess Grace of Monaco. Throughout the evening, Jewelers Mutual hosted jewelry giveaways, including a beautiful diamond pendant from Hyde Park Jewelers featuring 33 .50ct diamonds, valued at $990 as well as a costume necklace valued at $230.

“At Jewelers Mutual, our passion and specialty is protecting jewelry today and for tomorrow,” said Trina Woldt, chief marketing officer at Jewelers Mutual. “To be able to share our love of jewelry with guests of the CultureHaus event, and celebrate the masterful artistry of an iconic brand like Cartier was an honor and a privilege. It was an extraordinary experience.”

While guests appreciated the art of fine jewelry, they were also able to talk with Jewelers Mutual about the importance of protecting it for future generations. “CultureHaus was thrilled to have Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company sponsor this event,” said CultureHaus board chair Katie Kruger. “Together, we are able to provide important support for Denver Art Museum programming while raising awareness about the incredible exhibitions that the Denver Art Museum brings to our community, like Brilliant: Cartier in the 20th Century.”
