IIJS 2009 - India International Jewellery Show

While the jewellery industry the world over is passing through uncertain times, the Indian market continues to show resilience and promise of growth.

IIJS is India’s flagship jewellery trade show at which the industry converges in larger numbers - upwards of 30,000 trade visitors. Retailers, buyers, manufacturers, designers – from the largest companies to boutique firms will all be there.

Last year, IIJS was a Rs 3500 crore sourcing event (as per an IMRB report). Country pavilions, networking events, informative education seminars and fantastic show features will be an attraction once again, attracting thousands of industry professionals and retailers.

The IIJS platform, in its 26th edition, will provide an unparalleled opportunity to discover the various facets of today’s India – especially the surge in its business and economic growth.

Apart from being the world’s largest manufacturer of diamonds, India has emerged as a major player in the international jewellery market and is offering jewellery of all hues and colours which matches the latest styles and designs currently prevalent in the world markets.
