Auctionata is offering one-of-a-kind pieces of Otto Jakob

October 2013

Auctionata is offering one-of-a-kind pieces from the early work of jewellery artist Otto Jakob on 15. November 2013.

Highly individual creations full of sensuality, symbolism and colour characterize the jewellery of Otto Jakob, who is internationally celebrated as one of the world’s most unusual and best jewellery artists. As recently as March of this year, Vivienne Becker, the renowned author of jewellery monographs, honoured Jakob’s “turbine” earrings from 1986 as one of the 100 most important pieces of jewellery of the 20th Century, including them in The Impossible Collection of Jewelry.

Designer Otto Jakob’s jewellery oozes fantasy and creativity – it’s like a fusion of magic and sculpture. Thus Otto Jakob is also among the few selected jewellers who is permitted to exhibit every year at the European Fine Art Fair, TEFAF.
