The 17th edition of the Amberif Design Award, which accompanies Amberif 2013 is launched; the competition’s aim is to promote creative thinking and new ideas in the design of amber art jewellery and amber items and to develop the knowledge about Baltic amber’s properties and nature. The Award’s protagonist” will be … simply a ring.

Facets brings one-of-a-kind men's jewelry designs to Limelight marketplace

The competition has an open formula – designers, artists and craftspeople are all invited.

The invitation to sit on the Jury has been accepted by: Caroline Broadhead – teacher in the Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London Christophe Burger – jewellery designer, Colmar Agnieszka Jacobson – Cielecka – journalist, exhibition curator, design and art critic, Warsaw Katarzyna Rzehak – art critic, Institute of Industrial Design, Warszawa Gisbert Stach – jewellery designer, Monachium

As always, a maximum of two entries can be submitted. Participation in the competition is free of charge. Submission deadline: February 10, 2013.
