A jewel of the sea with a watch nestling inside: with the new Venus, Century plunges into the imaginary world of the sea, with its naturalistic forms and surreal magic. Drawing on the mythology of the beach and of the treasures buried in the ocean depths, Century brings together in this piece its traditional know-how and its mastery of jewellery techniques.

Reinventing a motif that has inspired artists throughout the ages, from Botticelli to Fulco di Verdura, Century has created a jewel in white, yellow or red gold with a stylised design, covered with a hand-cut Century sapphire. A combination of materials complemented by different sources of light: the golden or silver light of the metal, and the dark light of the black Century sapphire, whose shape exactly mirrors that of the shell, and whose perfect translucency celebrates beauty in its purest form. As well as its technical qualities, this chromatic dialogue is the source of a new poetic language, fully expressed when the hidden watch, protected by the Century sapphire, reveals its dial with its essential round form.

The luminous display is set ablaze by the 351 diamonds studding the inside and outside of this authentic jewel.
