de Grisogono introduces The Black Bell collection

October 2013

With the new Black Bell collection de Grisogono, once again, plays a pioneering role in adopting lacquered carbon as an innovative material for a feminine jewellery line.

By using lacquered carbon fiber, a daring and groundbreaking material, the Master Jewelers at de Grisogono managed to create a new kind of jewel that is both very light and easy to wear. While extremely difficult to mold, carbon fiber is highly robust yet lightweight; de Grisogono faced yet another challenge to keep innovation as one of the brand’s motto.

But we cannot forget that carbon is, after all, truly precious. Diamonds are made of pure carbon, and so are the strikingly beautiful and durable black surfaces of the bell shaped rings and earrings of the new Black Bell collection.

The precious stones set against the deep black carbon create a striking contrast that emphasizes the bright colors of emeralds, sapphires and diamonds. Light brightens up the dark and night is suddenly lit by exquisite hues of green, pink and white. The detailed carved de Grisogono brand name on the inside of the ring and the de Grisogono crown on the backside of the earrings personalize this new bold creation.

Emeralds and white diamonds are set over polished white gold in matching rings and earrings. For pink sapphires, de Grisogono chose the warmth of pink gold .
