French Jewellery at International Jewellery Tokyo – IJT – 2017

December 2016

For the 21st year running, a French collective pavilion will be organised at IJT, to be held from Monday 23 to Thursday 26 January 2017 at the Big Sight Ariake exhibition centre of Tokyo.

10 French jewellery brands will present their best-sellers as well as their new products. Here is an overview of the styles expected:

  • This year, earrings are pendants and adapt to all occasions: Nénuphar by Bellon Créateur or Galets Zen by Mandine are perfect for accessorising everyday outfits whereas Pampilles de Lumière by Pacôma Paris or Ginza by Loris Paris give additional radiance to evening gowns.
Mandine

  • The trend is also for delicate jewellery that enhances the roundness of pearls and the smoothness of mother-of-pearl. Combined with yellow gold, as in the Feuille W & Perle W collections by Mandine or pink gold like the Perle de Rosée collection by Michèle Baschet, where white pearl illuminates the jewel. With its reflections ranging from green-grey to black, the Tahiti pearl is also a must-have this year, as seen in the Beautés enlacées collection by Pacôma Paris.
Masviel

  • In bracelets, open-worked cuffs are still all the rage, in yellow gold as in the Nefertiti style by Michèle Baschet or cuffs by Masviel, or in plated yellow gold as found at Murat Paris. In a different style, Oressence Paris, in its Art Déco collection, presents a bracelet-ring, an elegant style for women looking for an original piece.

  • Finally, jewellery creations give star billing to diamonds and diamond paving. Timeless and eternal, their radiance is found in the Pattyl collection by Loris Paris, in the Fleurs collection by Loiseau Kebadjian or even Sumba and Milosa rings by Vangelder Paris.
