Omi Privé awarded Grand Prize of JCK Jewelers’ Choice Awards

March 2015

Fine gemstone jewelry designer, Omi Privé, is awarded the Grand Prize in the eighth annual JCK Jewelers’ Choice Awards. Retail jewelers from around the world voted the 4.33 carat Lightning Ridge black opal ring by Omi Privé as the “Best Ring Design over $10,000,” and the Grand Prize winner. Each year awards are given in multiple categories; the piece that earns the most votes is honored with the Grand Prize.

The focus of the award winning ring is the extraordinary play of color in the center black opal. The opal is accentuated with 0.46 carats of trillion green tsavorite garnets and 0.24 carats of round blue sapphires. The shank of the ring sparkles with 0.42 carats of brilliant round diamonds. The ring was crafted by hand in 18K yellow gold in Los Angeles, California.

“We are honored to win the Grand Prize award; it is very meaningful to me, as jewelry retailers are the ones that voted on our piece!” says Niveet Nagpal, President and Designer of Omi Privé. “My passion lies in color, and I am especially pleased with the way the colors come together in this ring. I am excited and honored that it has been recognized amongst so many beautiful entries.”

Omi Privé also earned merits with its black opal and tsavorite garnet ring. This piece was announced as a finalist in the category of “Platinum Jewelry over $10,000.”

Omi Privé designs have been honored in the JCK Jewelers’ Choice Awards each year since the brand’s launch in 2012. Further details of the ring may be viewed online at OmiPrivé.com or viewed in person May 28th through June 1st at The Couture show, Wynn Las Vegas, Salon 143.
