International Gem Tower New York : Curtain wall installation begins

The International Gem Tower team announced today that the installation of the tower’s custom curtain has begun.

The tower is a 34-story commercial condominium designed specifically for the gem and jewelry trade that is currently under construction on 47th Street, in the heart of Manhattan’s Diamond and Jewelry District.

Steel has been erected up to the 15th floor of the building and will continue to rise on a weekly basis, with completion on schedule for 2012.
