Tiffany Celebrates the Year of the Rabbit with Charms of Gold

December 2010

Inspired by the imagery and lore of the Chinese zodiac, Tiffany & Co. creates charms of 18 karat gold in celebration of the year of the rabbit, in 2011.

Of the 12 animals that make up the horoscope’s 12-year cycle and their corresponding personalities, the rabbit represents the discreet, sensitive type. Tiffany designer Paloma Picasso’s detailed charm captures the creature’s tender nature in 18 karat gold superbly crafted with the quality and design excellence for which Tiffany & Co. is renowned worldwide.

In addition, Tiffany creates charms based on the red envelopes that friends and family members give to one another at social gatherings and holidays such as the Lunar New Year. The charms are crafted with a red enamel finish and the symbols for luck and wealth in 18 karat gold.

Tiffany also designs the elegant oval or beaded pendant chains and link bracelets that combine with the charms to create beautiful gold jewelry. Wrapped in the Tiffany Blue Box®, each elegant design represents the Tiffany tradition of creating lasting mementos for life’s most important occasions.

The charms are available at select Tiffany & Co. stores worldwide.
