n keeping with the Maison’s high jewellery creations, the Skyline pieces are crafted entirely in its own atelier in Lucerne. The concept for the design, however, originated elsewhere - during a nocturnal arrival into New York in 2023. The shimmering lights of Manhattan and the skyline’s distinctly structured architecture left a lasting impression on the design team, becoming a defining source of inspiration.
From this moment emerged the collection’s signature geometric aesthetic. The first sketches were drawn on the return flight to Switzerland, where the Skyline collection began to take shape.
The collection is now complemented by a curated fine jewellery line of the same name, set exclusively with white diamonds whose serene play of light underscores the Skyline design’s precise geometry. It is conceived for women inspired by architecture, design and the energy of modern metropolises, seeking diamond jewellery of refined clarity and form. Pieces designed to be integrated effortlessly into everyday life, without compromising on exclusivity or craftsmanship. Here, too, the design draws on the clean lines and vertical geometries of the Manhattan skyline at night, translating them into a pared-back, versatile expression.
The collection comprises a necklace, stud earrings and a ring - crafted in 18-carat white or yellow gold and set with diamonds of up to half a carat. Defined by a clear, architectural design language, each piece centres on an emerald-cut diamond, framed by an architecturally designed setting in gold and pavé-set diamonds - a subtle nod to the tiered lines of the New York skyline. In the necklace, this motif appears as a geometric pendant, its stepped lines echoing the city’s vertical silhouette. The earrings and ring adopt this form, distilling it into a more compact, graphic interpretation. In this way, architectural clarity finds its counterpart in the diamonds’ serene play of light.
The Bucherer Fine Jewellery Skyline collection is available in selected boutiques worldwide as well as online.
